The Palisades Rotary Club is once again providing eligible students in the Edgewater School District with nutritious meals and snacks for the weekend. The Weekend Snack Pack Program is a project funded by Rotary Club of The Palisades and delivered to eligible students at GW School and EVG School with the cooperation of Center for Food Action. After receiving parental consent, children enrolled in the program receive a snack pack each Friday that’s a school day. Nutritious snack packs are discreetly slipped into the students’ backpacks by their teachers. Eligible families will receive an invitation to participate each fall. Interested families may also contact your school office for more information.
