According to the State of New Jersey, during the continued public health emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, districts are authorized to provide an aid-in lieu payment for a student that is equal to the share of school days in which in-person instruction is provided.
The first half of the year will be paid in April 2021 to those students who have been receiving in-person instruction from September 1, 2020 through January 31, 2021.
The second half of the year will be determined at a later date when the private school has informed us if your child has been receiving in-person instruction from February 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021, and be paid in July 2021.
Applications are prorated to the date they are received by the public school.
Just a reminder that you must provide the Board with a fully executed Request for payment of Transportation Aid (Form B7T) voucher for each child.
