Good afternoon,

I hope you have stayed safe and warm over the past few days.

We are ready for a regular school day tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25. 🏫 Our facilities and custodial teams have worked diligently to clear walkways, parking lots, and prepare our buildings. We are grateful for their dedication in ensuring a safe return for everyone. 👏

We will continue to monitor the weather and the potential for overnight snow. 🌨️ If a delayed opening becomes necessary, we will notify families no later than 6:00 a.m. tomorrow. ⏰ Otherwise, we look forward to welcoming students and staff back to our classrooms and hallways. 📚✨

Due to snowy and icy conditions, the Edgewater School District will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Here’s what that means:
📚 No school
🚌 No buses
🏫 No after-school activities

Students, here are some new fun ways to enjoy your snow day:
🧁 Help cook or bake something tasty with your family
🏗️ Build an epic blanket fort and camp out indoors
🧪 Try a simple science experiment at home
🎧 Create a fun winter playlist and have a dance party
✍️ Write and illustrate your own short snow-day story
🧩 Design your own board game and teach it to your family
📸 Have a winter photo challenge (inside or outside!)

Families, please use caution if heading outside and help everyone stay safe and warm. ❄️🧤🧣

Due to snowy, icy weather, the Edgewater School District will be CLOSED on Monday, February 23, 2026!

Here’s what that means:

🛷 Go sledding (with a grown-up’s permission!)
